answers his own rhetorical questions.
Anhui? Anhui you can turn up the freaking heat?
So here's the thing. I am in the bright cheery province of Anhui. After changing hotel rooms, phones, numerous calls to the front desk, and a little American common sense, I have internet connection in my room. My notebook has been neglected this past week.
This first brief posting is just to let you know I am still alive. Anhui is cold. It's not just cold outside, but inside also. Indoor heating is rare and is reserved only for spoiled foreigners like me. Liang Bing's dad bought me some really killer thick long underwear (pictures to follow), so I am much warmer now. I am in a small town about 50 K from Benbu (sp?). I'll be posting a lot more over the next few days. I got nothing but love for all of you.
